How does Change Lyrics Keep Melody work without manual MIDI editing?▼
The system detects the note sequence (pitch and timing) directly from the source singing audio and builds a MIDI melody from it automatically. Your new lyrics are then aligned to that detected melody and re-synthesized, so you never have to transcribe or edit a MIDI file by hand.
Can I use an audio track that includes instrumental background music?▼
For optimal results, input an isolated vocal track or acapella. If your song has background music, we recommend running it through our Vocal Remover first to extract a pristine lead vocal.
Does this work across different languages?▼
Yes, for English, Mandarin, and Cantonese today -- pick the lyrics language in Step 2 so the engine can correctly align syllables. More languages are on the roadmap.
What happens if my new lyrics have more syllables than the original?▼
If your new lyrics contain more syllables than the detected melody has notes, generation will ask you to shorten the lyrics instead of guessing at new note durations. Lyrics with fewer syllables than notes are fine -- the extra notes are filled with held notes or expressive melisma so every note in the melody still gets sung.
Can I retain the original singer's vocal timbre?▼
Yes -- the new vocal is generated using your source recording as the voice reference regardless of which Melody Lock Mode you pick, so the resulting timbre stays close to the original singer's.
How many credits does each generation cost?▼
Generating a full vocal take with new lyrics costs 30 credits. All generated audio is delivered in studio-quality WAV format.
Can I edit the generated vocal further in my DAW?▼
Absolutely. You can download the uncompressed WAV file and import it directly into Ableton, Logic Pro, FL Studio, or Pro Tools for mixing and autotune polish.
Can I connect the new vocal to the Multi-Track Arranger?▼
