What is an AI multi-track generator?
An AI multi-track generator creates multiple musical tracks that work together as an arrangement. With LyricToMelody AI, you start from a MIDI take and generate 4 or 6 separate stems that you can preview and download.
Do I need MIDI before using Multi-Track Generation?
Yes. MIDI is the musical starting point for this workflow. If you do not have MIDI yet, create a take with Text to MIDI first and then continue to Multi-Track Generation.
Can I choose one of my previous MIDI takes?
Yes. The Source MIDI selector lets you choose from your available MIDI takes. If you continue directly from Text to MIDI, the corresponding MIDI can be selected automatically.
Can I upload any MIDI file?
Only supported MIDI sources should be used. If direct MIDI upload is not currently available in the interface, create or select a MIDI take through the supported LyricToMelody AI workflow.
How many stems can I generate?
The current workflow supports either 4 or 6 stems. The exact track names and instrumentation can vary depending on the generation.
Can I listen to each stem separately?
Yes. After generation, you can listen to the full mix and preview individual generated stems separately.
Can I download individual stems?
Yes. You can download individual available stems from the result page. You can also download the complete stem package together when the ZIP option is available.
Can I download the full mix?
Yes. The result page includes the combined arrangement so you can listen to all generated tracks together and download the mix.
Is this the same as stem separation?
No. Stem separation starts from an existing audio recording and tries to isolate instruments already present in that recording. Multi-Track Generation creates new instrument tracks around your MIDI idea.
Can I use the stems in my DAW?
Yes. Downloaded audio stems can be imported into compatible DAWs and audio editors for further arranging, mixing, processing, recording, and production.
Can I generate another arrangement from the same MIDI?
Yes. You can keep the same MIDI and generate another version, or change the arrangement direction before generating again. Different generations may produce different musical interpretations.
Can I use generated stems commercially?
Commercial use may be available for eligible outputs depending on your plan and the applicable Terms. You are responsible for having the necessary rights to your source MIDI and other inputs, and for reviewing generated material before commercial publication or distribution.
